Powerful Parent Seminar: Foundation Building: Making Choices
Are you wondering how to get your kid to use the secrets of powerful decision-making?

Is there anything you can do to stop your kid from getting themselves into those situations?

You know you have an amazing kid on your hands; and you know you want to do more with all their energy. But they just keep doing things that you cannot believe – what in the world were they thinking? You can only imagine what it will be like when they are older. The things you have tried are not helping them make better choices.

After helping hundreds of young people make choices over the last decade, I’ve discovered what helps them make powerful choices:

  1. Self - Awareness
    1. You need to know the specific ways to know yourself to have a place to make powerful decisions from.
  2. Encouragement
    1. No matter how solid a choice you make, life happens, and things go sideways. Helping young people know they can handle sideways, opens up many, many doors.
  3. Perspective
    1. Learning is uncomfortable, but mistakes are critical. You need to learn how to get into and through mistakes in order to enjoy the rewards that live on the other side of failure.

It will be amazing when your kid makes decisions with self-awareness and while feeling encouraged – everyone will feel the ease and relief. And the ability to gain perspective will flow.
