Absolutely it is. No matter how poorly or well you are listening, the chance to enhance your listening exists. We provide opportunities for our kids, we support them with their work, we try to spend as much time with them as we can, and we care so much our expectations are high. Their expectations are high. There is a lot of pressure.
The one thing that makes the biggest differnce, but is lost in the concern about the grades and achievement, is listening. I want to provide you the opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your deeper hopes, enjoy a new perspective, and appreciate who the young person in your life is.
If you can commit to doing Listening Empathetically once a day for at least 15 minutes, every day for9 days, I will give you a free PDF copy of my Listening Empathetially Guidebook.

- Fill out the form below and submit it. You will receive an email asking you to confirm.
- You will then receive an email once a day for fourteen days with:
- information about how to listen empathetically;
- A daily action to practice your listening.

- For 9 consecutive days, each day do the Empathetic Listening and consider the Gift of Trouble as described in the workbook, for at least fifteen minutes.

- Record daily how you felt before and after your Empathetic Listening. Especially record insights that come to you about the Real You, your kids, and trouble
- After 9 days, the last email will point you to a form where you can write up your experiences with the Opportunity, and will give you access to the Empathetic Listening Guidebook.
Although you’ll get immediate access to the workbook automatically, I will also read and respond to what you write and send in, even if it takes me a day or two longer than the automatic system.
